Toney Construction Services, Inc. (TCS) was incorporated in August, 1994. The primary focus was ground up commercial construction and multi-family renovations. Since that time the company has matured and evolved into a commercial construction company that focuses on interior office build out and several ground up projects a year.
Interior construction, including metal and wood framing, drywall, finish work, painting, flooring, acoustic ceiling and grid are done in house, with our own employees. This gives TCS an edge over the competition since we have control that just can’t be obtained through subcontracting to other companies. Most of our men are certified and badged by several large clients such as BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Continental Airlines, ExxonMobil, HAS (Houston Airport Systems) and KBR. Being badged means the employees have received site specific safety training for these facilities. TCS takes safety to the next level giving scheduled and random drug tests, adding OSHA 30 training as well as Houston Area Safety Council training. In all the years of operation, TCS has never experienced a loss time injury by an employee.
Together, with a very qualified group of subcontractors, TCS has performed design/build projects for Case Equipment, CivilTech Engineering, Fort Bend Battery and Golf Carts, Hines Nurseries, Hydril Company, Katy Suzuki, Polaris West, Scott Macon Equipment, Shaw Insurance, and Shepherd Uniform.
In addition to the clients listed above, TCS works with AT&T, Caldwell Watson, Chelsea Catering, Coca Cola, Convergys, Kellogg Brown & Root, Frito-Lay, Hydril Company, Miller Building Company, Trammel Crow, The Young Group, Zachary Construction Company and many others.
TCS works with many out of town general contractors on local projects. This can be done by performing a turnkey job for the client, or TCS can aid in the selection of quality subcontractors and in the supervision of the project. TCS can also assist companies in due diligence of potential purchases and assist management companies with budgeting of repairs and renovations.
